What is Smart Delivery Driver?
SmartDeliveryDriver.com is a driver-led map of practical places for logistics and transport—think truck stops, parking areas, fuel stations, EV charging, weighbridges, repair & tyre services, washing stations, freight brokers, training centres, accommodation near routes, and more. Drivers can add new places, keep details accurate, and help each other plan better stops.
Who is it for?
Truck and van drivers, couriers, fleet managers, and anyone planning road logistics. If you work on the road, it’s for you.
Is it free?
Browsing the map is free. Creating an account to add locations or submit reports/claims is also free.
Which countries are covered?
We’re global and growing location by location. Coverage is strongest where drivers contribute actively—add missing spots to help your region!
Which maps do you use?
We use OpenStreetMap (Leaflet) on the homepage for speed and privacy. Google Maps is used only on upload pages, editing pages, and single location pages where precise address/Street View lookups help with accuracy.
How do I find places?
Use the search box and category filters on the map. You can also enable “My Location” to jump to your current position (grant your browser location permission).
Can I get driving directions?
Yes. Open any location and use the “Directions”/“Open in…” button to launch your preferred app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze) on your device.
The map pins load slowly—what can I do?
Large areas can have many places. Zoom in a bit or refine filters to reduce how many markers load at once. A brief loading indicator may appear while we fetch nearby locations.
How do I add a new location?
1) Go to Upload Location (login required).
2) Find the spot on the map or search the address, then click Confirm location.
3) Fill in details (name, category, address, contacts, opening hours, etc.), add photos/documents, and submit.
What info should I include?
Clear name, category, accurate address (auto-filled from the map), phone/website if available, opening hours, entry restrictions (height/length/weight limits), payment options, on-site amenities (showers, food, laundry), and at least one helpful photo.
Can I upload photos or PDFs?
Yes—on the upload and edit forms you can attach images (e.g., entrances, signage) and supporting documents (e.g., price lists, site rules).
How do I edit an existing location?
Open the location’s page and click Edit (or Suggest an edit). Changes may be reviewed before going live to keep data clean.
How do I claim my business?
Open your location and click Claim this place (login required). Provide proof of ownership (website/email from the domain, business document, or similar). Once approved, you’ll be able to keep details updated.
How do I report an issue?
Use the Report button on the location page (login required) to flag inaccurate data, a move/closure, or request additions/changes. Include specifics so we can verify quickly.
What happens after I submit a claim or report?
Submissions are queued for review. We may publish straightforward fixes quickly; items requiring verification can take longer. You’ll see status updates under My Locations when available.
Can I ask to remove my business?
Yes. Use the Report button on the location or contact us at Contact with proof of ownership. We remove sensitive content and handle takedowns case by case.
Do I need an account?
Browsing is open. To add locations, claim, or report, you need to be logged in. Create an account at Registration or Log In.
How is my data used?
We store only what’s needed to operate your account and contributions. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I change or delete my account?
What types of places can I add?
Examples: truck stops, parking areas, fuel/EV charging, wash & repair/tyres, weighbridges, recovery, spare parts dealers, freight brokers, training/driving centres, transport companies, pet services, recruitment offices, accommodation (hotels, campgrounds, Airbnb), shops/stores, construction sites, hubs/cross-docks, recycling centres, seaports, airports, and more.
Can I add restrictions like height/length/weight limits?
Yes. Use the fields on the form to record entry constraints, preferred entrances, and any special instructions for HGVs.
Can I use it like an app?
Yes—add SmartDeliveryDriver.com to your home screen. On Android/Chrome you’ll be prompted to “Install” the app; on iOS use “Share → Add to Home Screen”.
My location isn’t detected—what should I check?
Enable location services in your browser/system, grant permission when prompted, and ensure you’re on HTTPS. If it still fails, refresh the page and try again.
Which browsers are supported?
Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox on desktop and mobile. If something looks off, update your browser and clear cache.
